Why CoopGamesDB
Find a game all of you can play, and play it tonight.
Stores tell you a game has co-op. We tell your group whether it works for you: how many of you, on which platforms, together or on one couch, and what it costs everyone. Then we help you pick and get everyone there.
Why not just search a store?
The questions a group asks before buying, side by side.
| Your group asks | A store search | CoopGamesDB |
|---|---|---|
| Can all four of us play it together? | A “co-op” tag, rarely how many players. | Player counts for online, the same screen and LAN, and a filter for your exact group size. |
| Online, on one couch, or split screen? | Mixed into one list of features. | Said apart on every game, and a filter for each. |
| What does it cost all of us? | The price of one copy. | The price for your whole group, its price history, and an email when it goes on sale. |
| We can’t decide. | Scroll, argue, give up. | The picker spins or deals a game that fits everyone, in ten seconds. |
| Next Friday, same group? | Group chat chaos. | A crew with your shared list, your next game night and the nights you played. |

What is a crew?
Your group of friends, with a home on CoopGamesDB.
- Up to 8 friends, joined with one code or link. Nobody needs an account to join.
- A shared list of games you want to play, so the next “what now?” takes a minute.
- Your next game night, who’s in, and the nights you played together.
- A budget everyone agrees on: the picker and the game list keep to it.

- A “Verified developer” mark, and a badge for your own site.
What we promise
Every fact shows where it comes from
The developer, the game’s store page or our editors. A fact nobody has confirmed yet says so.
We link, we never host
Buy and download games where their developers sell them. We send you to the store.
Paid is always labelled
If a placement is paid for, or a store link earns us a commission, the page says so.
Small games count
A community game that fits your group can be picked as often as a famous one.
Common questions
What is CoopGamesDB?
CoopGamesDB is a catalogue of co-op games for groups: filter by how many of you there are, how you play together (online, the same screen, split screen or LAN), platform and price, then pick a game and plan the night with your friends.
How is CoopGamesDB different from searching on Steam?
A store search tells you a game has co-op. We tell you how many can play online and on one screen, which platforms it’s on, what the game costs your whole group, and we pick one that fits everyone when you can’t decide.
Is CoopGamesDB free?
Yes. Browsing, the picker, crews and game nights are free, and need no account. A free account adds lists, sale alerts, picks for you, levels and badges.
What is a crew?
Your group of friends, up to 8 people, joined with one code. A crew keeps a shared list of games to play, your next game night and the nights you played together. Joining needs no account.
Where does the game information come from?
From the game’s developer when they manage its page, otherwise from the game’s own store page and public sources our editors check. Each page says which, and anything not yet confirmed is marked unverified.
I made a co-op game. Can I list it?
Yes, for free. Submit it, or claim its page if our editors already added it. You can then keep its facts right, post updates and see how groups find it.
Got a group and an evening?
No account needed. Say how many of you there are, and spin.
